Zara Does Weddings (mockumentary)
Research has shown that weddings have become one of the most lucrative industries in South Asian communities in Britain. To investigate this further, we follow Zara, a new wedding planner in Birmingham, who has just set up shop at her mum’s funeral directors. What could possibly go wrong?!
Zara Does Weddings was selected by Story Engine Birmingham for their stage to screen scratch night in March 2026, where it was greatly received.

Borderlands Creative People and Places
Farrah was commissioned to carry out an R&D, a creative response to the race riots in Middlesbrough and Birmingham with fellow playwright Ishy Din, with a view to developing a theatre piece.
Following the R&D, Farrah and Ishy will be developing a new piece of theatre together.
